At the January 16, 2020 CSD Board of Trustees meeting, the Governing Board approved a resolution to support the national Census, which will take place in Spring 2020. The Census is a count of all people living in the U.S. and is our civic duty, mandated by the U.S. Constitution. It occurs every ten years to determine the number of congressional members each state has in the House of Representatives; to redraw state and local district lines; and determine federal program funding allocations for education, schools, and other programs that benefit and keep our communities healthy and safe. Please read the resolution to understand why it is imperative for everyone to engage in it. To review the CSD Census resolution approved, please click here.
