Farnham School was recognized as a California Distinguished School. This award is given to the top 4% of California's 5000 elementary schools. Our excellent academic program addresses the needs of all children. We utilize benchmark testing to establish benchmarks and to help us meet the changing needs of all our students. These assessments help us to implement appropriate interventions.
Cambrian School District is known for its high-achieving students and high-performing schools. Charter Accountability
In April of 2003, Farnham Elementary School was approved to become a dependent charter school to offer the Farnham community flexibility in the area of enrollment of students. Farnham enrolls over 11% of its students from outside the Cambrian School District boundaries and allows options for individuals to be educated at Farnham if they choose. As a dependent charter school, Farnham follows all of the Cambrian School District Board Policies and Procedures.
