President’s Award for Educational Excellence

Students are to earn a grade point average of 3.67 in grades 4 - 5. They will receive a certificate signed by the president, and a pin.

President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement

This award recognizes students who show outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment or intellectual development in their academic subjects, but do not meet the criteria for the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. It rewards students who work hard and give their best all of the time. Though not required, many students who earn this award face obstacles to learning. These students will receive a certificate signed by the President.

4.0 Award

This award is given to fifth grade students who have maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average throughout all grading periods in 4th AND 5th grade. Students are rewarded with a certificate and a medal or pin.

Student of the Month

Students who exemplify LifeSkills may be chosen as Student of the Month at Bagby. Students in grades 1-5 are recognized at monthly assemblies.
