The Buildings & Grounds Department is committed to creating and maintaining a top-notch learning environment for our students and the professionals that serve them. Our department takes care of our six school campuses and the district office, and is responsible for providing:

• Building Maintenance
• Landscaping and Caring for Grounds
• Janitorial Services

Meet our teams:

Custodial Team:

Our custodial team takes great pride in keeping the facilities safe and clean. We follow a regular cleaning schedule, which includes periodic deep cleaning at all Cambrian Sites.

Grounds Crew:

Our ground crews keep the exterior of our buildings neat and well-maintained. Lawns and playing fields are mowed and watered, walkways and hallways are cleaned, and trees and plants are trimmed on a regular basis. Sprinkler systems, exterior fencing, and gates are also maintained by our highly qualified staff.

Maintenance Team:

Our maintenance team is responsible for keeping all electrical, lighting, doors and windows, mechanical, HVAC units, and other equipment in good working order. The staff immediately addresses any graffiti or unsafe conditions and routinely inspects our buildings to identify needed repairs.

Injury and Illness Prevention Program

The safety of the children, employees, and volunteers is the paramount priority of the Cambrian School District. We strive to prevent and reduce injuries and illnesses, increase productivity, and promote a safer and healthier environment for all individuals.

The Cambrian School District will provide the tools and education necessary for every employee and volunteer to work efficiently and safely. We expect these individuals to follow and use the procedures set forth. We also expect employees and volunteers to communicate concerns or provide feedback when better methods or new ideas come to their attention.

The Cambrian School District has developed this linked Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) to maintain a safe and healthful work environment for all employees.
