The Comprehensive School Safety Plan (CSSP) is a document that brings together all of the relevant board and school policies into one document as well as our school’s emergency plan. This document outlines the policies around topics such as child abuse reporting (as dictated by state and federal law), suspensions and expulsions, sexual harassment, dress code, student discipline, and our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) plan. In addition, the document outlines our emergency response system and how we will respond to a variety of incidents. This plan is reviewed and readopted on a yearly basis and the state asks schools to hold an annual meeting to allow public opinion to be shared about the CSSP.
