Steindorf STEAM Magnet School
Steindorf STEAM School is a magnet school and serves just under 500 students, Kindergarten through 8th grade. As a magnet school, it offers Cambrian School District residents the flexibility to attend Steindorf no matter what their school attendance boundary is.
Due to more students requesting Steindorf than space available, a priority list and a lottery system will determine the order in which students will be admitted. The lottery is held sometime in mid-March. All requests for Steindorf must be completed and submitted no later than March 1, at 4 pm every year. There are no exceptions to the deadline.

The process to enroll in Steindorf:
Using the online registration system:
New Cambrian Resident Students (Students who are not currently attending a Cambrian School):
♦ Since Steindorf does not have any neighborhood boundaries, students will register for their homeschool: Bagby, Fammatre, Farnham, Price, or Sartorette, and select Steindorf under the School Requesting field. No additional form is needed.
Current Cambrian Students (Students who are currently attending a school in the Cambrian School District):
♦ Complete an Intradistrict Transfer Request Google Form. A link to the online form will be posted here on January 23, 2023. As well as emailed out to current families.
Out of District Residents:
♦ If you live outside of the Cambrian School District boundaries you will need to obtain an Interdistrict Attendance Permit Form from your homeschool district. The request must be approved by your District of Residence prior to registering for Steindorf. Approval by both districts is required.
