                                                                                                 ME FLAG
    9/2014
Students designed and painted a  flag that represents the core of who they are. They brainstormed virtues, values, and hobbies they are passionate about. After narrowing these down to their top three or so, they turned these ideas into a flag design using symbols, designs, and colors that were meaningful to them. This was a wonderful process because students got a chance to learn about one another while practicing acrylic painting techniques on a textured fabric, which is a little tricky! JOB WELL DONE! I am so impressed with the level of effort brought by each student!
