    Dear Bagby Families,

    Welcome to a new and very unique school year! If you are new to Bagby, welcome to an amazing school and community! If you are returning, welcome back!

    The Bagby Home & School Club is a parent and teacher organization that supports the school and its’ students. With your donations of money and volunteer time, the Home & School Club makes possible many programs and activities that are not funded by the Cambrian school district. We help pay for technology, software subscriptions, library services and teacher stipends for classroom supplies. Once in person school reopens, the HSC also makes field trips, assemblies, Art Vistas, Mileage Club running club, the garden and the Variety Show possible. We work closely with the teachers and administration to foster an environment of inclusivity, community and mutual support for the benefit of all our kids. These programs all rely on your contributions.

     The Annual Giving Campaign is held at the start of each school year to ensure funding for all planned activities for the year. This is the ONLY time in this school year that the Home & School Club will ask you for a direct donation. Please give what you can – there is no “right” amount, and we realize that our school community has families with a wide range of incomes. If you are able, we suggest a donation of $250 per student.

    Because the Bagby Home & School Club is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) entity under the umbrella of the Cambrian Education Foundation, your donation is tax-deductible and many local employers will match employee contributions. Some companies that provide matching are Apple, Intel, Intuit, Oracle, Cisco, eBay, Google, NVidia, among many others. Last year, company matching funds resulted in an additional $15,000 to help our students! Please note the Tax ID 77-0448212 is for the Cambrian Education Foundation, NOT Bagby Elementary School so when submitting a donation through a company matching site, please note in your donation that the money is for the Bagby Giving Campaign. If you are unsure whether your employer has a company matching program, please ask your Human Resources department. The Home & School Club will provide a receipt for your tax records.
