Collaboration of teachers, families and students is at the center of what we do, keeping us focused on a path of continuous improvement. Our goal is to serve, support and exceed your expectations. As part of the Cambrian School District, we proudly partner with our families and community to ensure each of our students possess the strongest foundation upon which to build their future success. Our actively engaged students take control of their education as they are challenged to reach their personal goals and push themselves to new levels of growth and achievement.

Cambrian School District has a rich tradition of excellence and a stellar reputation based upon student achievement, staff professionalism, and parent satisfaction. At the Elementary level, our schools have seen tremendous growth in student learning. Our highly trained staff continues to carefully connect the District’s mission, vision, core values and beliefs to enhance teaching and learning through the implementation of instructional best practices.

As Sartorette’s Principal, I strongly encourage every family become involved and engaged in a meaningful way in their child’s educational experience. Our school is a caring, collaborative community where we develop creative and critical thinkers and foster a strong sense of community. This allows our school to serve as a shining example of how true teamwork and partnership between the home and school translate into success for every child.

As a District, we believe all children have value, deserve respect, can learn, can succeed, have a right to the best education possible, and can be lifelong learners.  Together, let’s explore the infinite possibilities in learning for our children!

    California School Dashboard Updates

You may know that in March 2018, the California Department of Education (CDE) released a new website designed to help communities across the state access important information about K–12 districts and schools. Called the California School Dashboard, the site features reports on multiple measures of school success, including test scores, graduation rates, English learner progress and suspension rates. The Dashboard is part of California's new school accountability system based on 2013's Local Control Funding Formula. New student achievement data from Spring 2017 will be available this Thursday, according to the CDE.

As you may know, the majority of our schools are structured as “dependent charter schools,” which allows us to welcome students from throughout our county, not just our district boundaries. The Dashboard currently lists all charter schools as separate entities, whether they are affiliated with a district or not. Complete aggregated data is not available for our district, and parents may need to follow an extra step to find their child's school. Click here to learn more and follow the instructions to find the data for your school.
